So I was sitting at Barnes earlier, minding my own business, when this guy, out of nowhere, comes up to me and introduces himself. "Hi, I'm Tony," he says, offering his hand out. So I look at him, take off my headphones and shake his hand, responding softly, "Hi, I'm Monica." Then he looks at my books and says: "I didn't mean to bother you. I just wanted to meet you," and walked away without even giving me a chance to say anything in response. I didn't look up for awhile after that.
Hands down, that was one of the most awkward moments of my life.
